About me
Sandrine Rousseau
Yoga is like music, where the rhythm of the body, the melody of the mind, and the harmony of the soul come together to create a symphony

My story
I am, above all, a student of the masters and teachers to whom I pay homage every day for having transmitted the guidance to my true nature.
I am also a certified Level 2 Iyengar Yoga teacher, trained in the method of Shri B.K.S. Iyengar and a member of the AFYI. I teach Iyengar Yoga and the art of healthy living between Cap d’Ail and Monaco.
My lineage is rooted in alignment, precision, and the effectiveness of movement connected to the breath, while respecting the body’s physiological and biomechanical principles.
I use props to adapt postures to each student’s structure, so they can benefit from the poses regardless of their physical possibilities. Props guide correct placement and help embody the conscious experience of the body, through the finely tuned attention given to sensations and perceptions.
My teaching sheds light on presence—towards oneself and others—where the body becomes the mediator through which life is experienced. Before being connected to our environment, we must learn to connect with what is closest and most familiar: our body, our senses, our mind.
Each day, I awaken with the intention of refining my teaching so that all students may also rise in awareness, moving from external to internal practice. Beyond teaching, I continue my own healing path through shamanic medicines, Tantra training, and meditation, following the teachings of non-dual traditions.
